Does Universal Protection Services have any connection with automotive manufacturers and their warranty programs?

There is no connection whatsoever. The protection plans offered by UPS go beyond the coverage offered by the manufacturer’s warranty. A plan tailored particularly to your needs is particularly useful; indeed a wise investment after your warranty has expired. You save literally thousands of dollars when your car, showing evidence of wear and tare after miles of use, has unexpected breakdown.

I have car insurance, so why do I need your service?

Universal Protection Services plans are entirely different from auto insurance plans. Your car insurance applies only if you have an accident. Our plans protect you from mechanical and electrical breakdown. They also include roadside assistance, towing, hotel and meal costs when breakdown interrupts your trip, tire hazard, and a rental car while your car is being repaired.

What happens if I sell my car?

Universal Protection Services Plan can be transferred to the new owner. Therefore, the sale of your car becomes more attractive to the potential buyer and more lucrative for you?

Can I go to my own mechanic for repairs?

Yes, You can go to any dealership that is ASE certified, a certification of excellence awarded to the dealer by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence.

What do I do when I need service under my contract with Universal Protection Services?

In the event of a breakdown, do the following:

  • Call the Concierge number given to you when your contract is activated
  • The Concierge calls for roadside assistance.
  • You contact a car rental service of your choice.
  • You call the ASE dealership of your choice to schedule repairs.
  • Universal Protection Services Administrator pays for repairs directly to the ASE dealership of your choice to schedule repairs.
